What it contains

WorkSafe Victoria (WorkSafe) can pay the reasonable costs of medical services provided by a medical practitioner to an injured worker where required as a result of a work-related injury or illness.

This publication outlines WorkSafe's position on several commonly billed MBS items applicable for interventional pain therapies. It has been developed in consultation with WorkSafe's clinical panel following a comprehensive review of items commonly invoiced to WorkSafe for all interventional pain therapies including elective IPT surgery.
