Worker dies after being hit by a front-end loader

The 26-year-old man died after he was struck by an articulated front-end loader while it was moving recycled goods at about 9.45am.

The death is the 24th confirmed workplace fatality for 2024. There were 47 work-related deaths at the same time last year.
