Nominations are now open for the 35th edition of the awards, which celebrate and honour the achievements of those who have made a significant contribution to reducing workplace harm and improving outcomes for injured workers.
The awards continue to recognise excellence and encourage workplaces to adopt best practices and cultivate a culture where safety is paramount.
This includes the critical work of Victoria's health and safety representatives (HSRs), which will again be highlighted in the Health and Safety Representative of the Year category.
WorkSafe Chief Executive Joe Calafiore said it was important to celebrate and reward the efforts of business and individuals who are excelling at keeping Victorian workers safe.
"The WorkSafe Awards represent a legacy of commitment to workplace health and safety and I would encourage individuals and businesses large and small to nominate," Mr Calafiore said.
"In our 35th year, we honour those who have gone above and beyond, setting standards and championing a culture of safety that ensures workers return home safely every day."
A diverse range of employers were recognised last year, with emergency services, local councils and aged care providers amongst the 16 finalists from more than 100 nominations received across the award categories.
Nominations for the 2024 awards are open to all Victorian-based employers and workers, and entrants can nominate themselves or another person.
Entries close Friday 21 June and winners will be announced early next year.
