WorkSafe investigates fatal crane crush

It is understood the 28-year-old was working alone unloading timber products when he was struck and crushed by the boom of a truck-mounted crane about 2pm.

The death is the eighth confirmed workplace fatality for 2024. There were 13 work-related deaths at the same time last year.
