Worker dies at construction site

A worker has died after he was struck by an overhead boom at a St. Albans construction site on Monday.

It is believed the 40-year-old was working alone operating a concrete pump and boom when the boom collapsed.

WorkSafe is investigating.

The death brings the workplace fatality toll to 16 for 2021.
