Health services
The following providers can help you access free or low-cost health services.
Healthdirect
A free, 24-hour health advice and information service.
Dental Health Services Victoria
The Royal Dental Hospital of Melbourne and other community dental clinics offer low-cost general dental examinations and care.
You need a health care or pensioner concession card to access these services. However, you may be able to access them in certain circumstances, such as financial hardship.

The following providers can help with housing and crisis accommodation.
Department of Families, Fairness and Housing (DFFH)
If you need information about housing or crisis accommodation, the DFFH can help.
Travel
The following providers can help with transport concessions.
Public Transport Victoria
If you’re aged 60 years and over, you can access concession tickets for travel. You may also be eligible for free annual travel vouchers.
Safe Transport Victoria
The multi-purpose taxi program offers subsidised fares for people with severe and permanent disabilities. You can get up to 50 % off the total fare, up to $60.
You must meet certain criteria to apply.
Transport Victoria
You can apply for an accessible parking permit if you have a significant disability, injury or are legally blind.
You have to complete the first part of the online application. Your medical practitioner then has to complete the assessment part to submit the application.
