This session will explore the basics of WorkSafe's role in harm prevention and enforcement. WorkSafe will address local issues, welcome questions from the audience and explain how to create safer workplaces.
How to support injured Victorians back to work

An interactive case study on a worker who has been injured at work and as a result has submitted a workers compensation claim for a mental injury. We will discuss an employer’s Return to Work planning obligations, with a focus on how to balance both the mental injury and meeting obligations. This presentation will also provide the audience with the opportunity to ask questions about planning for a workers return to work.
Managing psychosocial hazards in the workplace

Join us as we discuss psychosocial risks in different work contexts, including how an employer can identify, assess and control these risks. We'll help you to understand your responsibilities as an employer and ensure your employee's health and safety.
